The Lodge, Carswell Farm

Tucked away on the South Devon coast, our six cottages are dotted around our organic dairy farm and yet are only a short walk from the beautiful coast path and many secluded coves and beaches. The wilderness of Dartmoor is only a short drive away whilst the wonderful Erme estuary and Mothecombe beach, with over 130 acres of sand at low tide, is just a couple of miles away.

Explore the nearby picturesque towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe or visit the historic port of Plymouth . Why not visit out of season and cosy down by a roaring log fire, or come and see the calves and lambs in spring? You are very welcome to come and watch the cows being milked in our new parlour and hear all about how we farm organically.

At Carswell, we are passionate about our surroundings and the environment. We put local organic milk in each cottage for guests on arrival – with our compliments. Carswell is also the birthplace of the Well Hung Meat Company so our visitors can taste award winning organic lamb and beef. holiday cottages - dogs welcomeCorner Cottage In a lovely location with beautiful views, Corner Cottage offers perfect accommodation for a larger family or group.
